trip to mackinaw - day 3...

wednesday was our day to just hang out at camp.

the adults' day started like this. :)

and the kids started with bubbles.

max was obsessed with the seagulls. he called them ducks for the first day, but he so wanted to catch one. i'm not sure what he would have done with it once it caught one.

i just can't get enough of him.
(well, by the end of day 3 i had enough...but only because he was tired and whiny and i'm pretty sure he wanted to go home.)

they kept playing in this small hole in the sand. hannah and teddy would "fall" into it and have max help them out. then they would laugh hysterically and then hug. it was adorable.

grama took the little people for a walk on the beach.

heidi enjoyed lounging in the sand.

i got a picture of denny taking a picture. not sure what the rest of them are doing...maybe ring around the rosie?

after the walk, it was time to drink some juice and listen to tunes with dada.

just chilling.

i love this picture with his feet on drew's foot.

grama was putting grapes on the pretzel sticks and calling them helmets.

after we were done relaxing, we headed into mackinaw city to do a little shopping.

rawr!

he looks quite serious here...but i assure you he was rocking his little heart out on this bumble bee!

mmmm....ice cream.

max had some too...pineapple-orange!

after lots of running around and playing in the water fountain...our little man was wore out!

(insert an awesome nap, lunch, and more time on the beach.)

it got windy so we had to move to the back side of the cabins.
we played and i took lots of pictures....

hike! he's got a pretty good spiral already!

yes, my husband is wearing socks with sandals.

i love this picture of max!

me and my mommy!

max and me.

grama and max.

playing with dada and hannah.

and heidi listening to her tunes.

we had a great dinner of some grilled fresh fish and uncle denny's famous potatoes.
denny and drew had a good fire going so we made some s'mores to end the night!
