bad blogger...

so i admit i have not been a good blogger lately.
we have had so much going on around here and i am always forgetting to bring or use the camera.

drew finished school on friday and is already enjoying his summer vacation.
max is only going to daycare on tuesdays this summer and is doing great with that adjustment.
i have been busy at work getting our programs adjusted for the summer schedule.

here's what we've been up to...
drew is busy making improvements to the backyard. we had a large tree removed, tore out a brick patio that was so uneven due to tree roots, and cleaned up all the landscaping. he hopes to get the grass to grow, build a shed, and tidy things up by max's bday party on the 26th.

we went to a baseball game last tuesday and evan (who is newly engaged to lindsay!) joined us. max was really interested in watching the game. he kept cheering "go t-ratts!" he just didn't want to sit and watch the game...he wanted to stand or walk around. so the two of us enjoyed an active game! drew and evan sat and watched and talked for a bit.

wednesday we travelled to milwaukee to see the pediatric pulmonary doctor. she was awesome. she will be doing part of his procedure next friday. she was very understandable, great at explaining things to us, and seemed very level-headed (not wanting to push surgery).

we are getting ready to head to mackinaw island for a family vacation on monday with denny, diane, hannah, teddy, grama, and heidi. one of drew's former co-workers is going to house/dog sit for us. i promise to take lots of photos and share about our adventures.
