trip to michigan...

it's been awhile.

we're back and have much to update.

the weekend before thanksgiving we travelled to michigan.

while there we visited friends, spent time with my dad, and got the chance to attend an NFL game!

we made it about 5 hours into the trip and stopped for the night.

next stop to visit the everson family!

then we headed to a playground and to check out a few little shops in town.

we got to my dads on friday evening.

went out to dinner and then layed low for the rest of the night.

the next day we were off to jungle java with elaine's grandsons!

this bridge made max nervous.  we think it's cause he could see the ground through the netting.

he mastered it in no time!

max had a blast playing with his new friends and running around like a wild man!

we finished the day off with some play time and dinner at elaine's house!

the next day was the main event.

grampa mark got tickets to the packer-lion game at ford field!

we took him down the the field.

he thought it was pretty neat.  you can tell by his expression that he was a bit overwhelmed!

so many thanks to my dad for taking us to the game.

although he wasn't as thrilled with the packer victory as max was, we hope he enjoyed the visit as much as we did! :)
