the weekend after thanksgiving, we put up our tree!
we had a section of lights out. :(
drew was trying to get them to work...but no luck.
i think grama might have to look for another post-Christmas bargain again this year.
we've had this tree for a few years and i think we got it for about $15!
max loved putting the ornaments on the tree.
he examined each one before finding the perfect spot for it!
the last ornament is max's baby ornament and drew always has picked up max to put it on the tree.
max thought he could help put the star on the top by standing on the table.
not quite buddy, but you'll be tall enough to put the star on top before you know it.
and please excuse our pjs in the middle of the day...it's tradition to decorate the tree in our new Christmas pajamas! :)
and with the tree, come the rest of the Christmas decorations.
max really enjoys playing with the manger scene.
baby Jesus didn't make it last year...he met his fate on the tile floor in the kitchen.
luckily we were able to find a new one!
almost every day we find the manger set up in a different way.
i have even found new characters joining in on the fun.
the funniest addition so far has been a plastic rat!
