a fun back-up plan...

(a few weeks ago) we loaded up in the car to head to green bay for a trip to bay beach.
we got halfway there and the skies turned grey.  boooooo!
we decided to go and check out the children's museum in green bay instead.

it was pretty busy, because it's new and because the weather was bad, but we still had fun.

we checked out the packer area first.
here is our little packer, striking a pose.

doing the lambeau leap!

a family shot at "lambeau field!"

next he waited patiently in line for his turn to play a virtual sports game.
he got to choose from soccer, football, and basketball.

he chose soccer.

goooooooooaaaalllll!

we walked around and headed to the fire department next.
he saw this desk and phone and sat down.
he said, "mom, this is where i work."
i think he's been to my office too many times! :)

driving the firetruck!

there was also a boat.  all around it were things to do.  you could drive the boat, play in the water, fish, and raise different nautical flags on the flagpole.  it was pretty cool!
max and dada enjoyed fishing the most!

then we went to the store.
this was neat.  there was a cash register, tons of food, scales, and shopping carts.
but, max grabbed a broom and helped clean! :)
he also played with some girls and checked things out!

drew and i enjoyed some "sushi!"

there was a 50's diner, a shoe shop, a building area, a craft studio and an awesome tree house.

we finished up at the museum and had some lunch before heading home.
it was a fun family friday!
