sunday morning we went exploring around the hotel. max and dada posed in the rocking chairs on the porch of boone tavern.
then we headed to berea coffee and tea...where i enjoyed many coffees in my kentucky days. max enjoyed a hot chocolate with vanilla (whipped cream) and sprinkles, i had a vanilla latte, and drew had some awesome apple cider.
then we headed to richmond to spend the day with the west family. max and zoey played like crazy, took awesome naps, and then enjoyed their first packer game together. when he was telling my mom about the trip he called zoey his girlfriend. :)we are looking forward to a visit from the wests in a couple of weeks!
we left late that night to put a dent in our drive. we stayed in another "hotel, motel, holiday inn," and were home by 3:30 in the afternoon on monday.
