thursday...

wednesday morning i noticed max's upper eye lid looked a little swollen. after his nap it was worse so drew took him in to see the doctor. the doc's guess was a bug bite or allergy.
well, this is what my little guy looked like thursday morning. it broke my heart and brought me to tears because i couldn't do anything to fix it. luckily it didn't see to hurt him, just a bit bothersome.

after a fun day with grama, we headed downtown with grama, aunt leslie, and cousin hayden to watch a local band play.

max was a little confused. we went to get a close look at the band and check everything. he just stood there. finally he looked at me and said, "where's dada?" keep in mind he's really only see drew play. i had to explain that this wasn't dada's band. i guess i didn't do a good job, cause he looked at me again and asked the same question.

we had a great day and are so glad aunt leslie and hayden visited. we are looking forward to spending some time with them at the family reunion!
