what a wonderful day...

we had a wonderful day!
to start it off, max slept until 8:15!!!
we had breakfast, got dressed and headed to the farmer's market.
it was a bit chilly so we had to get out the winter hats!

max was loving this bluegrass band!

we ran into becky and nate.
max was excited to see both of them!

after checking out all of the market, we ended up with only dog treats and spaghetti squash.
we dropped things off at the car and decided to head over to the children's museum.

wow! right off the bat...max was mesmerized with the fish.

he then did some exploring in the mini kwik trip store.

every time this train passed by max would squeal with excitement and let out a "choo choo."

we went upstairs and max found the ball area right away!

next we headed to the firetruck area.
max was determined to figure out how to push in these buttons.

there was this whole room dedicated to pizza.

kids could make pizzas and put them in a fake oven, deliver them to different "houses" and learn all about the history of pizza.

next we found a play area for kids under 3.

it was all garden themed...veggies, fruit, bugs...max had fun exploring.

there was a great bird house/observation area.

we ended our journey at the water table area.our handsome little man!

when we saw this...we knew it was time to go home.

he feel asleep within 5 minutes of getting in the car.
what a great family day!
