end of summer cottage trip...

we decided to head up to the cottage for one last hoorah before summer was over.
we went up on sunday morning and stayed until monday afternoon...just a short little trip.

sunday afternoon we drove up to fish creek to walk around and do some shopping.
unfortunately, there aren't many stores that are "stroller friendly" so we mostly walked around.
the weather was perfect...so we were all fine with that.
lindsay came with us and was nice enough to treat us to lunch at the bayside.
we had some amazing veggie pizza.
shortly after that, drew had to head to his gig which was less than a mile up the road.

lindsay, max, and i did some more walking and found ourselves at a coffee shop.


i went inside to order and max hung out outside with his godmother.

we did lots of exploring at the cottage.
it's amazing what a 14 month old can get into at a beautiful, spacious, non-childproofed home! :)

max found this mama goose and baby goose.

he made himself comfortable in his own little spot.

max got pretty wore out on sunday.

i put him down at 7:30 and he went to sleep without even a peep.
