we travelled to the eau claire/augusta area of wisconsin this past weekend for drew's grandfather's funeral. it is a sad thing to lose a loved one, but it was so nice to see all of his family.
we spent some time in the bar attached to the hotel telling stories, sharing a drink on "gramps" and having fun.

the viewing, funeral service and burial went from 10am-4pm...it was a long day.
here are amie, victoria, and gracie hanging out at the luncheon at the end of the services.
when we got back to the hotel drew and i got in some swim time with all the cousins and then the boys joined us to watch the cowboys/eagles game in our room.
after that, all 28 of us went and had some dinner.
