the little farmer...

today we headed to the little farmer orchard and pumpkin patch in malone, wisconsin. it was supposed to be a 45 minute drive, but it took us almost twice that to get there. (thank you wisconsin department of transportation and your ridiculous amount of road construction!) it was a cloudy morning but on our drive the sun started to peak through and it ended up being a beautiful fall afternoon.


max was ready for lunch as soon as we arrived.
we bought some goodies to take home and then explored the grounds.

max and daddy looked at the goats then posed for a picture.




we checked out the pumpkins and took a few pictures.

max wanted to see how tall he was so we measured him by the giant apple.

we found a pumpkin for each of us and then shared a caramel apple!

max started to get sleepy so we headed home.

it was such a fun day. i think we have started our first tradition as a family!
