cedarburg winterfest...

we headed down to cedarburg with hannah and grama for a fun day to check out winterfest with grammi and grampa ken!

we tried to get both kids to ride the camel...but max was a little unsure.
but hannah loved it!

it was a very fun but long day!

valentines day...

we had an action packed valentines day around here!

i got these beautiful flowers delivered to me at work from my valentine! :)

since daddy had to work late and dj a social for the students, max and i planned to go out on a valetines date with becky and audrey.

he worked hard on a valentine card for audrey!

we started with dinner at el azteca!

then we headed over to monkey joes!

audrey ended up on her belly almost every time...it was hilarious.

max was so fast, this was the best picture i could get!

olympic fever...

we really got into the winter olympics at our house.
i think max wore every single jersey that he owned during those days.
he was a cross country skier, an figure skater, a hockey player, a snowboarder, a biathelete, a ski jumper, a speed skater, and more!

it was awesome.  he loved watching every part of it.
during the opening ceremonies, we got out the ipad and looked at where all the other countries were located.  it was fun to learn some new things with him!

we even celebrated one night with a fire and smores! :)

valentine family festival fun...

for the last few years, the united way emerging leaders have put on a valentine family festival.
there are games, a dj, clowns making balloon animals, cookie decorating and more.
max LOVES stuff like this.

i went early in the morning to volunteers and then joined max and drew for some fun in the afternoon!

zac brown band...

drew and i had been planning to go to see zac brown band with another couple...
the week of the concert, they realized they couldn't make it.
we hurried to find people to take the tickets...becky and my mom were happy to join us!

it was an incredible concert.
we had a great time!  i hope i get the chance to see them again!
